Nice staff, okay accommodation with some caveats
Large room and bathroom, comfy bed, decent price, nice host, working AC, working hot water, simple but clean room, relatively quiet area but still in walking distance from the busy tourist zone, several good food options nearby, and a large 7 eleven right next to it.
Here are few things that might be important for other fellow tourists. Please keep in mind I stayed in a single room with a big bed and ensuite bathroom, so I can't speak for the multi-bed conditions: • The bed had a clean sheet, but the duvet had no sheet(!), and the pillow cases were fairly worn and I couldn't tell whether or not they were freshly washed. • As with most places in Thailand, you're asked to leave your shoes at the entrance - however the stairs and the lobby area, all the way to the kitchen and terrace, were dirty, and I had to constantly wash my feet upon getting to my room. • Some people might not care, but none of the public/shared areas on the premises have AC. And you can't program or leave the AC on in your room, because the electricity cuts off when you take the key out. Getting back after a long and sweaty day and having no refuge from the heat, was not a nice experience. Be prepared to wait until your room gets cool (mine took 6-7 min), or go and shop at the 7 eleven nearby for a good 10 min and cool yourself off, before you get in the room. • The upper windows in my room were basically one sheet of glass held in place with a few nails, and when larger cars/trucks pass on the road outside, the glass vibrates strongly, creating a very sharp and loud sound against the nails. This woke me up several times during the night. I ended up using a folded piece of paper as a dampener and it made it slightly better.

We stayed in a double bedroom with private toilet equiped with AC. The bed was confortable and the room was clean and spacious. Toilet was Also spacious and clean as well. The hostel is in a central area, 15 min walking distance from Khao San Road. Safe Area, in a nice neighbourhood with lots of local places to eat (breakfast/dinner). The terrace is also a nice place to have a drink or just to chat. In the day we checked out, manager was kind enough to let us storage our luggage in the lockers until 8pm and to let us have a shower before our flight, that was late at night. Also the common toilet/shower area was very clean and spacious. We would stay again for sure.
For future purposes they could arrange some transport to avoid extra charge from taxi/tuk tuk drivers (although if you use Bolt, you'll pay fair prices). 30/40 min walking distance from Subway, wich we found the easiest way to travel around the city.
